Chances of miscarriage after 10 weeks

I am nearly 10 weeks pregnant and I have seen the heartbeat. Am I nearly in the clear? I'm finding that from friends that later miscarriage are when the heartbeat hadn't been seen before later ultrasounds?

I'm stressing out like crazy and I'm not having a lot of symptoms (morning sickness etc).

Some feel good stories would be fantastic!

Thanks in advance ladies!!

not every pregnancy is the same. some women don't feel sick at all and some women just don't stop being sick throughout the whole 9 months. the more you stress the more damage you are doing. relax, book an ultrasound for the 12 week mark. ive been pregnant 4 times now and not one of them has been the same.

After three miscarriages and an ectopic I never took any pregnancy to be in the clear until the baby came (but that was my paranoia). I have had two successful pregnancies as well. But if you've seen the heartbeat, you've got no bleeding and your doctor is happy with hormone levels then you've got a great chance at a successful pregnancy. For my own peace of mind I made sure I had the nuchal test at 12 weeks, then I did a 3D ultrasound at 16 weeks, morphology at 20 weeks. After that you can feel the kicks so it's all good! Try to look after yourself and not to stress too much and enjoy your pregnancy!

Hi I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks 3 days 6 years ago I pray it doesn't happen to you the BEST THING you can do is relax easier said than done .I know but the stress abd worry is not good for you and bubs as for the little pregnancy symptoms. I didnt get hardly anything slight nausea occasionally and heart burn with #2 just think you're one of the lucky ones. . I now have 3 very healthy boys aged 4 2 and 8 months just relax IM I wish you all the best :-)

You can never know. I had bleeding during a previous pregnancy and went to hospital, they did an ultrasound and saw the baby's heartbeat and assured me that the baby was healthy and fine. I had massive bleeding that same night and was rushed to hospital by ambulance where the doctor simply said, there is no way the baby is still alive. That was my third miscarriage and most traumatic.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I don't mean to be negative but miscarriages can happen any time during a pregnancy however I was told at 10 weeks that I was going to lose my baby as I was spotting & he turned 14 on Monday. Rest heaps, look after yourself & best wishes xx
