Hi, I have a question for all of those that had to take Clomid.
I am 38 and I already have a beautiful daughter but I would LOVE just one more baby.
I have PCOS and recently sought the advice of a fertility specialist who cannot actively treat me until I lose about 16kg (to get to a certain BMI) so he recommended that I have Gastric Sleeve surgery (which I am more than happy to do). My problem is that I have to wait 12-24 months post surgery before I can try for this much wanted baby. I don't want to wait too long!!
Has anyone else been given Clomid (to regulate periods) and has been overweight? I would love to find a specialist who is willing to help me even though I am overweight.

Why gastric sleeve? I had lap band and I was told if we wanted to try for children I only had to wait around 6 months tops and my BMI is off the charts... 55 or something similar at the time of banding. Have lost 30kg since feb last year, 20 of those within the first 4 months and I during that time I had medical problems which meant I couldn't stick to the eating properly or have the fills as regularly as I should have.
