Ok Im a naughty Mum! I let fly with a F-in Hell 2 weeks ago. Once is all it took for my soon to be 3 yo to think its ok to use. He has been praticing it around the inlaws this week has let it fly at his cousins and just now to express his dislike of being in bed. Problem is he just perfected it so there is no covering it up. Its going to be noticed by the MIL. Oh bugger. Now I dont normally cuss infront of him or much at all. But he has taking a fancy to it. I have not drawn attention to it and just now have layed down a punishment. Obviously didnt work. Hopefully it will be a passing phase just got to ride it out now. Totally an imperfect mum tonight. So who else has created a foul mouthed toddler?

My 18mth old niece was rather fond of ducks. Well that's what we told her other grandparents she was saying :)
My BIL taught my 4 yr old how to use the word S**t in the right context and all it's taken 6 mths of ignoring the word and praising the good language. Someone I know has a daughter that regularly tells her mum to F off.
Yup :/ my husbands swears literally in every sentence but my 3 year old has never copied him.. I hit breaking point one day and yell For F Sake and guess what, the little parrot picked it straight up. AND can use it perfectly in context and the best timing!! It's been about 6 weeks now and it has died down but occasionally he will still bring it up... gahhhhh.....
Haha. Oh god I know the feeling. I don't usually say the f word but I let rip one when I burnt my hand and my 20 month old repeated it immediately!! I felt so bad but she hasn't done it since!
But unfortunately she's obsessed with my boobs and when I'm changing goes "boobies boobies" and jumps up and down! I don't know which is worse!!
This is my post I had to post this anonymous as my MIL has just started facebook. And any ammo would be happily collected. But I must say since this went to the wall I havnt felt so bad. I have had a chuckle at all the responses and feel relieved there are many mums out there like me. I have to admit tho the first time I remember my own mum dropping the fbomb put the fear of god into us as she never used it. I remember that moment so clearly. Heres hoping at 2 it will be gone soon I do like the funky owl giggle n hoot reference will definitely try it. Thanks for the laugh ladies.
