So I was thinking today about how all of you lovely men & women help lift those up who need help and feel like they're failing. I am one of those who feel like they're failing...at motherhood. I find day to day tasks incredibly difficult sometimes with the kids screaming, fighting, bashing each other, tearing the place apart.
So it got me thinking...if we could all post 1 thing, one tiny thing that we are SUCCEEDING at, then maybe, just maybe, when we read through others' comments, we might just go "hey! I do that too...and that one...and that one..." And before we know it, we may be able to see that we are doing MANY things well. We ARE DOING OK!!!!
so my challenge is a a small one. I'll start. Something small that we KNOW we do. Mine is this: my children must ALWAYS wear their seatbelt and sit in their booster seats EVERY time we leave the driveway. No ifs buts or maybes. I DO THIS! It's small, but I know I'm doing all I can to keep my children safe...
What's yours?

I am succeeding in breaking the cycle of domestic violence that went on (and is still going on) in my family, and I am showing my daughter how a healthy, loving relationship with your partner and child/ren should be! I am so proud of myself. Even though I have days where I can't stop remembering my fathers abuse and I feel like crying, I only need to look at my daughter and all the bad thoughts go away!
Best thing in the world, go mumma x
I have kept my son alive for 21 years :) there have been some close calls and some scary ambulance rides but he is alive.
