Stress and anxiety or something else?

Stress and anxiety or something else?

The past few months I have been suffering with heart pulpitations, dizziness, head aches, nausea and I'm incredibly tired most of the time. These symptoms hit me so hard that I can not function which is hard with 3 kids and a partner who most weeks works away.
Ive been to the doctor who has said its just stress and anxiety so we completed a mental health plan and now see a psychologist. I also take medication to help with the heart pulps and dizziness which don't seem to do much. I don't take anything for the anxiety.
These symptoms keep happening often even when things are fine and all I'm told is the same thing...its just stress and anxiety. I demanded a CT scan and had bloods taken which all came back fine. I'm really feeling like a hypochondriac.
These symptoms happen even when I'm not stressed and things at home are fine.
Its not that I doubt my doctor, I guess it's just that I'm incredibly frightened when they happen that I can't help but wonder if theres something more to it.
I don't really have a question but would like to hear from others who may have suffered from similar or some idea on how to deal with it or over come it when its happening.
TIA :)

That's how anxiety and panic attacks present. Your body kicks in and goes mental even when there is nothing to be stressed or anxious about!
That's why anxiety medication is so helpful as it retrains the body so it's not going into hyperdrive for no reason.

I know you said your bloods came back fine, but do you know if all of your thyroid levels were checked?

This is EXACtLY how anxiety manifested in me. Although knowing I was stressed and unhappy and doing it tough, It took a long time and for my partner to admit cheating and not loving me to realise the real depth of the real problems And realise what it had done to me And it fixed so quickly.Funnily enough I went to Dr's many times for exhaustion, feeling so slow and empty, physical pains and problems and they never once said stress and anxiety, even when prescribing anti depressants at the same time. Try seeing athe psychologist on the mental health plan, and just see how it goes... Mine helped me organise sleep patterns and those kind of things that really helped everything else.

My mum has recently had exactly what you describe and same diagnosis. My mum has refused her treatment plan until they check her hormone levels as she has had other signs of menopause the doctor wanted to dismiss. Can you think of any other hormone related issues that may be aggravating your stress? Hope you feel better soon.
