Studying with Kids and Full Time Work..

Looking for some advise regarding studying.
I work full time and have two kids, 2yrs old & 8yrs old.
I have a good job, close to home, decent money but i don't love it, i don't have the drive, its not what i want to be doing.

I'm looking into doing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Hubby also works full time but in order to make ends meet we rely on my full income so i would need to do it part time and online which i have found a Uni that offers this.
Is anyone in a similar situation, kids, full time work and studying a Bachelor? Any advise? Can i do this? My husband is very supportive, he is encouraging me to go for it but I'm a little scared.
We already share house hold duties and bedtime routines so i know i have my husband to help get the kids in bed at night so i can do a few hours study.
I just want to know if there's others currently doing the same?
Thanks :)

It's very doable if you study part time. Full time almost impossible because usually all your assignments will be due around the same time. Plus the stress of exams. You will need to get REALLY high marks in order to do anything relating to psychology. If you don't do honours and masters you won't be able to work as a psychologist. Places are tight for those honours and masters places so you can't let your GPA slip at all.
I used to employ psych students and basically all of them would want to take leave in the lead up to exams.

No I didn't work full time, but I did a full time prac for a whole semester, which required full work commitment plus other units and work at home and I also did one unit of a different course too. It was MANIC. I wouldn't advise taking on that kind of workload over a long period, it's totally stressful and unsustainable.I fully encourage you to study and it can be done, it takes commitment and hard work, just organise it best you can to succeed. Try to cut down work hours, or only take up one course per semester to test out how you manage. Good luck!
