Pregnancy tiredness

Third pregnancy, I've always been pretty tired due to minor low iron levels. This time around though I struggle to function at all. I have a 4yo and 1yo at home full time and everyone keeps telling me it's because of that, but I just feel like I'm abnormally tired and there must be something wrong?! I wake at 6:30 and by 11:39/12 I can barely keep my eyes open, the kids don't nap do I don't either and I feel like I'm being a terrible mum to them because I'm so tired and I have no patience or motivation to do things with them!
So what's 'normal' my bloods showed all normal levels of everything they check for so what else could it be?!

You need more sleep! You are sleep deprived. You should be exhausted! If you weren't I would think there was something wrong with you. If you can get to bed earlier. You are carrying a baby, which is tiring enough and have two kids who don't day sleep. If I go to sleep around midnight I sleep until at least 8am that's about 8hrs sleep, which you need. If I go to sleep at 11 I wake up 7. You are only sleeping 6 and a half hours a night (assuming you are not waking up to little ones in the night).

I go to bed as early as possible, around 9pm.. Which 10hrs but I'm woken 3/4 times a night with the kids and me needing to go to the toilet! There is honestly no way for me to get more sleep!

Well then being exhausted would be normal. There is nothing wrong with you, stop worrying and rest if you can

Probably a silly question but did they actually check your iron levels? That sounds exactly like me when I had low iron a few months ago. Granted it was made worse from sleep deprivation and stress but once my iron was sorted I had much more energy. Go back to whoever did the tests, ask them exactly what they tested for and get them to explain what's "normal" and what's not. Keep in mind that most doctors will tell you your levels are normal even if you're only .1 above what's considered "low". So get them to explain it all to you and go from there :)

Oh and also remember that diet can play a big part. Try and eat as much fresh fruit, veg and meat as you can :)
