Hi IM's. Has anyone experienced what I am while coming off the depo injection.
I decided to not get my injection in December. I have been on the depo for around 4 years and loved that I never got my period. But that's all I was really using it for. I'm a divorced mummy and am not into having sex outside a relationship ( yeah yeah I'm old fashioned lol) anyways I've started to get very sensitive nipples, bloating and cramps this week. My breasts feel more fuller too. The nipples are the worst of the lot!! Ouchies
Does anyone else have any stories of what they experienced, and how long this can last for. I don't want to give in and get another injection cos I really need to give my body a break.

Your hormones are kicking back in :(
my body takes months for the depo to wear off and my hormones just go crazy. Both times it's taken awhile to settle down. It sounds like your hormones are just changing and unfortunately it could be awhile before you settle into a regular cycle again. everyone is different. It took 10 months for me to get a regular cycle the first time I went off depo. then I had a baby and went back on the depo. it's now been 8 months and I've only had one two week long period.
