Hello lovely ladies,
My 7month old daughter about a month ago discovered she can stand up/ pull herself up onto abosolutely anything. She is very very tall for her age so when she stands up in her cot her head is over the top of the cot. She has always been a great sleeper, and still sleeps the night through but for the past 6 weeks getting her to stop standing up and actually go to sleep has been a nightmare. I have tried to CIO method, going in every 10 minutes and laying her back down but she just cries and cries and gets straight back up and cries standing because she's so tired. This has gone on for hours and hours until I give in and put her in our bed where she goes straight to sleep, or for a stroll in pram and again straight to sleep. I know CIO method is frowned upon these days but I'm out of ideas it's taking me about 3 or 4 hours a night to get her to sleep, people tell me she will get over it soon enough but it's been long enough for me. Any advice would be amazing thank you everyone
Standing in cot, is there light at the end of this tunnel?

I'd be trying her in a toddler bed if she was mine. My son was happily sleeping in one by the time he was 10 months
There is a light but it unfortunately takes perseverance :(
Maybe try putting her in a sleeping bag for a bit untill she forgets she can stand up
