Teething out of order

Is it normal for teeth to not come through in the correct order? My son (17 months) has his front bottom two, front top two, one to the right of his top two, both sides have the 14 month molars at the top, and now the right hand side eye tooth is coming through. Very lopsided and the right hand side seems to be the main place teeth are coming through??? Should I be taking him to a dentist? And how do you help them cope with the pain with this random teething - he seems to be struggling where other kids around his age are breezing through it all? Thank ladies x

Our lil boys came through not in order as well, he had his to eye teeth 1st then all the others within months followed. He looked like a vampire no front teeth ( they were pretty much last)
He teethed really early, and very exhausting. He is now 4 and has stunning straight teeth.
We only used bonjella and Panadol. Those teething rings that go in the freezer.
Our lil girl teethed late and slow, in order and no dramas.

Yep my kids teeth came in a weird order and looked strange, take them to the dentist to make sure somethin isnt wrong. If not, he is unique and special - celebrate it!

My son (now 27mths old) started teething at 3 months old with no actual teeth until 9 months! His teeth came in a funny order and he suffered very badly with pain, he spat out bonjella so I used a natural teething liquid I got at the chemist (Bauer brand I think?) Along with panadol, I tried the amber necklace (I would have tried anything at some stages!) And not sure if it made a difference or not. I put wet face washers in the fridge and he would suck on them when they were cold. Good luck as it is not the greatest time at all, but it does pass xxx

Normal. You should take them for their first dentist visit around 18 months anyway. We have a great one in Perth with games, toys, a dentist who dresses up as Spiderman!
