Update to the "I did it!!!!" post :)

Hi sisterhood :) I'd like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all the love and support you all gave me, it was heartwarming to read the comments (not to mention hilarious) I'm very pleased with hubby's reaction too by the way! That night when I got home (around 10pm lol) the kids were asleep and he was folding laundry and waiting for me with an open heart to discuss the situation. He spent 3 hours cleaning and tiding the house after he and the kids had dinner! Since that day he's been amazing! I actually don't expect help from him. We are a team, he provides financially and I run the house, I'm more than fine with that. What pisses me off to the core is that he used to think that SAHMs have the easy part. The lack of appreciation and the dismissal of my daily struggles. That gets on my nerves!!!! So I'm happy to say that he sees things quite a bit different now. That's not to say that he might need another one in the future (just to keep the thoughts fresh lol lol) xx

Great news, it sounds like you have a great hubby who learnt from the experience. And yeah everyone needs a reminder every now and then, plus it's really healthy opportunity for hubby to spend time getting to know the kids without his mums watching over the shoulder :)

That's great it worked out!
You inspired me lol I have booked dinner with a girlfriend next wk but not telling hubby.
He gets to go out to pub for night ( does this about every 3-4 wks) and not let me know won't be home which I hate so it's payback time will be telling him I have an appt so he can watch kids and then just not coming back. See how he likes it!
