I used to get growing pains when I was young so I know how real it is. My daughter gets them in her legs and feet at night It is terrible. I usually have her put her feet up on a large pillow and I usually put some heat or ice cream on them and rub them for a while

Yes I suffered growing pains from a young age and now my daughter who is very tal for her age suffered them aswell most of the time in her legs and feet. We usually find a warm bath helps and keeping them warm at bedtime, ice packs usually make it worse for her. If they are extremly bad I will give her some panadole usually they are bad if she's been doing heaps of excersise that day such as sports carnival or none stop running.

My 2.5 year old has always been an awful sleeper....some nights, after exhausting every other option, I would lay next to her and just rub her legs and feet (she used to throw them around in her sleep) and it used to settle her down...for a while anyway! So I suspected it was growing pains and my GP said it was very possible. Now she can talk and explain what's hurting her, she is ALWAYS telling me her toes hurt. I don't know if I've just started something lol...or if she just loves her foot rub so much that she tells me their hurting and gets what she wants....or if they really are hurting as I've always suspected. My 14 yo son had horrendous growing pains in his feet but not until 5/6/7 years of age. I have no suggestions for you...just wanted to say you tell you that you're not alone....there is definitely more going on for some babies other than teething!
