I'm not pregnant but people assume I am

I don't know if I'm actually asking a question here but I'm just feeling upset tonight as to people just assuming I'm pregnant because I have a belly on me. ( no I'm not pregnant ) I'm a bigger girl anyways my biggest parts on my body are belly & arms. I was at the laundry mat the other day holding the basket full of clothes when an older woman says are u right holding that,? I said yes she said oh just thought in your condition with your baby belly you might need some help with your basket. Although it's all nice asking if I need help it was a little embarrassing to the fact I'm not expecting. Then my confidence went out the door after already losing 10kgs I was having coffee when the lady serving me asks ' oh when are you Due? I said I'm not pregnant ( embarrassed lady then says sorry I just assume with anyone with a belly they pregnant cos there's so many pregnant woman about lately
I nearly cried cos I already lost 10kgs and starting to feel better then to realise no where near my goal weight again
Then tonight I was in the supermarket when a guy asks while waiting in line u having another one are u ? ( I had 5 yr old with me) I just nodded because I didn't want to feel ashamed again. It's really hurtful and I get really annoyed that people just come out with it & just assumes .
my stomach area went to crap after being pregnant to my 3 kids and it has ever since already been a struggle to flatten it down
So yeah just a little note to people out there just keep your mouth shut the next time u see a lady with a belly don't assume she's pregnant and put your foot in your mouth
Be considerate of other people feelings

Some people are so silly. My own grandmother asked if I was expecting again! I was like no way, don't you think I would've told you before I started showing?!
Don't let rude people get you down. 10kgs is a massive achievement. Be proud of yourself! :) if your confidence is feeling a bit deflated maybe you could check out City Chic, they start at a 14 and cater for curvy women, so the styles suit better, they may hide your tummy. Not that you should have to, but I always find dressing nice gives me a confidence boost. :)

Oh hun I was mortified once when a stranger told me off at work for being on a ladder "in my condition". When it happened I told a few people and so many people spilled the same thing had happened to them, even skinny minnies, it's awkward but it has happened to the best of us. Keep your head up 10kgs is so great!! Well done xx

I have made this mistake twice now and I can assure you that I will never do that again! But in my defence, both the ladies in question were skinny all over except in the tummy area. Felt so bad about it that I promised myself that I wouldn't ever make that mistake again. I know it's no consolation but I can guarantee they would have felt bad too.

I get the same thing everywhere I go. I have had 4 kids and the last one was an emergency cesarean. Ever since then I have never been able to loose my belly. I am tired of people asking me the same stuff and I know it is rude to do but after almost 4 years of it and loosing weight I have started being quite rude back. I dont mean too but it is now my defense mechanism. Keep your head high. Dont let rude arrogant people bring you down and destroy you getting to your goal weight. After 3 kids you are not going to have your pre baby figure anymore. I dont know anyone who would
