To buy a thermomix or not.
I've never been one to follow a crowd. And everyone I know has a thermomix and raves about how awesome it is. I used one today and I did enjoy using it and I made so many things I wouldn't normally make. What I want to know is. What's your favourite thing about it and has it changed your life. Thanks

I don't have one. But two of my friends do. They aren't 'cooks'. As in, they don't get enjoyment out of cooking. They both bought them in the hope of making all their food from scratch but after time it's just become yet another appliance that lives in the cupboard and barely gets used. If you're not into cooking, I don't think spending a couple of G on a kitchen appliance is going to change that. If you are, though, and you genuinely think you'll use it a lot, then go for it. Look on second hand sites. I see a lot up for sale.
I love mine, absolutely love it. When I do my kids snacks it takes me half the time that it used to. We are preservative free as my daughter reacts very badly and it has made the transition so much easier. I can make all the foods she usually loves without the preservatives from packaged food. I have been making Japanese soups and all sorts of things that I usually wouldn't ever make. It's honestly the best kitchen appliance I've ever bought.
