Becoming a Foster Carer.
My Husband & I are considering becoming Foster Carers. We have 3 biological children of our own, however due to pregnancy and birth complications, we have chosen not to have anymore biological children. We both feel however that our family is just not complete yet & we have room in our hearts & lives for 1-2 more children, so we thought that maybe becoming long term carers would be a great fit for us. Our children are 2, 4 & 5 years old, so we are looking to take on a baby or a baby & an older sibling, staying around the same age as our own children. I guess what I am asking is, are there any foster carers out there who can give us any information on fostering. We want to know everything (& I mean everything) there is to know, the ups, the downs, the hoops we will need to jump through, are there any special requirements, like a room for each child or is room sharing ok?, etc. :-) We live in Queensland. Thank you in advance. :-)

What state are you in as each state is different
Sorry, I will edit the post.. We are in Queensland. :-)
You have your hands full with three kids, maybe concentrate on them first and once they grow up, consider fostering then.
