I'm just wanting to find out if anyone out there has had to try an elimination diet on a toddler? I have a 15 month old daughter who has terrible eczema caused by food intolerances. She is allergic to dairy, cashews and eggs, which is fine as I just avoid those foods, its just I cant figure out what foods are causing her severe eczema. She doesn't eat a very broad diet already and is on elecare prescription formula. I have seen dieticians, allergists and paediatricians, but not finding anything or anyone particularily helpful. If theres anyone who can share their experience and advice on doing an elimination diet for a toddler I would be grateful.

My son had severe eczema he was intolerant to seafood, dairy, nuts, wheat and egg and certain fruits like kiwi and strawberries, I would strongly suggest avoiding wheat and see if that helps you can get a lot of wheat free options in the supermarket, my son had severe eczema from 6mths and outgrew it by 3 I was very strict with avoiding all the above and believe it helped in the long run, also spent a lot of money on creams the best and cheapest is just sorbelene non perfumed apply it continuously when you can throughout the day especially in this hot weather I even bathed my son it it, I feel your pain but just stick to it and your child will outgrow it too hopefully
