buying house

Hey guys really need your advice. Im so sick of renting and am looking at buying a house. I really want to build.. so obviously looking at house and land packages. Can you please share your experiences and where do I start? What are some good website s to look at? Who did u build with? Best banks? Im living in brissy and want to remain located in the southern/ western suburban areas. (Forest lake/inala/heathwood/doolandella)
