Ok. I'm suffering with anxiety very badly! I'm trying to stay off medication as was on it for 7years and finally got of it and was feeling really good. Been off it for nearly a year..
I did suffer with PND.
Nearly 2years ago we nearly lost my husband and since he has had 4 surgerys, i have handled it all quite well. But now his well ive hit a wall and anxiety is terrible. I'm constantly worried about my health and my kids.
I got vertigo back in Sept and thought i was dying. I still dont feel normal from the vertigo. I lay down and almost have a panic attack thinking it will happen again.. i have had a CT scan. I have had my eyes tested, had full bloods, thyroid, sugar, etc. Everything normal. So why to i feel like stuff crawling under my skin (pins and needle feeling without numbness), twitches, electric shock feeling in my head. I get heaps worse when hormonal, does anyone else suffer with these feelings. Im seeing a psychologist, do deep dreathing, muscle relaxation exercises, aromatherapy. What else can i do? Is what im feeling normal for anxiety. My dr puts it all down to anxiety. But of course i google things and get things like MS, menopause, other horrible conditions.
Thanks so much. Hope i make sense

Have you had an MRI? I don't want to frighten you but I had very similar symptoms and had an MRI (after some other testing) and my results showed up some markers for MS. I haven't had a diagnosis (more tests to be done) and it may not be that at all. Honestly I was shocked there was something there as i assumed it was all in my head (so to speak). Not saying that's what yours is, but I would pursue it further until things are ruled out. If your GP won't refer you for more tests then see someone else.
I would also strongly recommend you get some myotherapy as vertigo and your other symptoms may be due to tension. Try if you can to ensure you get plenty of sleep too. I find everything gets worse if I don't get enough rest.
ETA: sorry didn't read the bit about psych.
I tried and was successful with Chinese herbal medicine give to me by a naturopath. But if your feeling unhappy with what your doctor say, change doctors and get another opinion.
