Hi IM's,
Can anyone suggest how to keep our 6 week old son cool in his pram? We went out for lunch last week and when I picked him up he was sweating badly. It's quite hot where we live, I had him in a sleeveless onesie and no singlet, but he was still really sweaty when he woke. He was lying on a lambs wool liner, (which I have now taken out and replaced with a folded muslin wrap) has anyone got any other suggestions to keep him cool? The airflow seems quite bad in our pram. Thanks :)

If you find the answer let me know! My son is 4 months and I don't use a liner but he still sweats like mad. Sorry I don't have an answer for you. Good luck!
On hot days especially whens theres even a slight breeze saturate a muslin wrap and wring it out and drape over the front of pram and tie down all 4 corners to pram the breeze will push slightly cooled air from the wet wrap onto bub
I had the same problem and bought a pram parasol (which means I don't need to pull the hood down which makes my pram like an oven) and a pram fan. The pram fan is fantastic - about $20 from eBay, battery powered and lights up which bub loves!
Put the lambs wool liner back in, it lets the air circulate around bub, that's why they are so popular, warm in winter and cool in summer. Air flow is appalling in all prams!! Kelly's idea sounds great, too bad my bub is too big now for that
