Has anyone had a cervical stitch put in at 13 weeks due to an incompetent cervix? What was your experience afterwards? Did you carry to term? Did you require bed rest at any stage? Any other restrictions?

I had a stitch put in after 4 miscarriages. My waters then broke at 31 weeks and I was admitted to hospital for 4 weeks. My was induced at 35 weeks and my first son was born. That was in 2003. In 2011, rather than a stitch, I used crinone cream and made it to 32.5 weeks before my waters broke and my son was born by emergency c-section.
