Flatulence

I had my gall bladder out just after Xmas this year. Ever since iv had flatulence. I was told this is normal for a few weeks post op, but it's been months. My dr doesn't seem all that bothered by it. But I am. I'm breaking wind 6-10 times an hour.
Please tell me this will go away.
