Wondering if any other mummas have been diagnosed as an adult with adhd? I have been diagnosed somewhat recently and have been taking Vyvanse 20mg for the past 5 days. I’ve tried calling my doctor today multiple times and he was meant to call me this morning but hasn’t. I plan on calling tomorrow however I am wondering if anyone has advice or experienced this. I basically am feeling ok for the most of the day and then in the afternoon I just crash. Does the crash ever go or am I going to experience this everyday?

Amphetimine use in ADHD medication always worries me .
You've gone your whole life without it, it's not life threatening, just stop taking them until you can make an appointment to see your GP properly.
I'm sure GP will put your mind at ease and tell you it's common, there's often side effects with meds at first.
It usually takes about 6 weeks for most meds to settle into your system.
Doc might suggest you take for a certain amount of time and if it doesn't settle, you can just try a different one or change dosage etc.
Meds are very much trial and error.
Remain clam and trust that you will get it right, but it may take time.
My child's paed mentioned the crashing at the end of the day. Have you tried halving the dose, see what that does? Talk to your doctor, but maybe taking the tablet a bit later in the day so the crash happens at bed time, or depending how unmanageable and unavoidable the crash is is adding a quick release stimulant in the afternoon to tide you over til bed time (I'd be weary about not being able to sleep though). Have you tried the other type of long release (concerta?)?
Essentially it never gets better, you just learn to manage it, by doing things like mentioned above
