I have tested positive for COVID and I'm symptomatic.
It's just dawned on me that work has offered both the covid and flu vaccine. I know you have to wait 6 months for the COVID but is there a wait time for other respiratory illnesses because your body is fighting something?

You need to be well to get the flu vaccine. My teenage son had to have his delayed a couple of years ago because his temp was 37.6 at the time of the appointment, and that’s classed as a fever. He had no other symptoms at the time and none developed over the following days.
Don’t get either??? U have covid. Did you die? No, so it’s pointless!!! The flu vaccine is the same. The flu vaccine is for last years strain, so again…. Pointless!!
