Our 8 month old DD has in the past three weeks stopped sleeping well of a night time. She had been sleeping from 7 til 7 with a dreamfeed and an occasional wake at 7.40pm but was easily settled. She is now waking all the time and all she wants to do is get up and play. For example she went to bed last night at 7pm. Up at 7.40om. After an hour and a half of trying to settle her we got her up. She went back to bed at 11pm till 1am. Tried to settle her until 3am and then just got her up as she just wouldn't settle and she went back to sleep at 5am till 7am. We usually do not get her up but we are at our wits ends. I can't do much as I am unwell and due to have surgery in feb. Husband has to do the lions share and it's taking its toll. She is being weened to bottles which she hasn't had an issue with. She is not teething. She does not seem to be in pain. Cries when we are trying to resettle but happy as anything if we get her up (only done that twice). She isn't crawling yet but is wiggling along the floor. Does anyone have any advice. She sleeps in her own bed. Not wanting to co-sleep but that wouldn't change it anyway because she is so awake (we tried that one night). Do not want to let her CIO.

I'd say she'll just grow out of it. None of my babies ever slept well so I never had the shock of suddenly not sleeping :) they just woke all the time.
Is she having a day nap early in the day not late in the afternoon? Maybe she is growing up & isn't tired at 7 anymore? Sounds like she's not tired maybe?
