I am a single mum of 3 teenage kids. I haven't had a relationship for 3 years and have been divorced from my children's dad for almost 10 years. I have had 2 relationships in between this time- one with man who is estranged from his kids and one that has no kids and never wanted to.
I am convinced that I am happily single yet would really like some adult company. I have tried online dating but always delete my account within 48 hours due to realising once again that online dating is just not my thing.
How do women meet people these days? Not into pubs and clubs and no chance with work connections as I am a private practitioner (psychologist).
Would love some advice from others re how to connect.

As a single mum of 3 I never thought I had the time for someone else in my life until the right one came along. Unfortunately blind dates (online dating) are the way these days. I have however seen relationships start from sport and dancing. So if either of these interest you join something. Strangely there are a lot of men who play golf that I know who were single. Maybe there is a change there to join in and be part of a club that way. Best of luck
Depends on where you live but sporting clubs or volunteering in areas of interest can help connect you to new networks. The man of your dreams may be a brother, dad or boss of someone you meet. So rather then looking at directly meeting someone - think about broadening your network
