I have suffered with scalp psoriasis since I was a teen. Now in my late 30’s my scalp has flared up a lot lately. The only difference in my life, is that I have gone back on to eating gluten for the past 3 months approx around the same time that my scalp has flared more. Has anyone else noticed this or any links to gluten. I am not coeliac and have had all the appropriate tests. I ate pasta last night and ever since my scalp has been so itchy. Back to gluten free for me by Drs orders for another reason, but the Dr didn’t mention any link for my scalp. Would love to hear others opinions on this, who suffer from scalp psoriasis.I will be taking more notice now that i am going gluten free again.

Gluten sensitivity. I'm non coeliac, but get rashes, flakey skin and bloating from gluten.

my fiancé has psoriasis of the scalp
its quite bad and cause alot of itching and flaking
He was told to remove gluten from diet but after further research if he was truly gluten intolerant he would also display symptoms of this on his body which he does not.
He has starved using a shampoo that is designed to rebalance the skins ph levels and he uses a tangle teaser brush to exfoliate his scalp before showering/washing his hair and has found this to help lift the excess skin/flakes from scalp and has reduced the itching
the shampoo he uses is by clinicare
