I know it’s hard now and you probably can’t see happiness in sight but the longer it goes on apart, the easier it gets and you start to enjoy your own company , Freedom and being on your own. It does get easier once you get past the painful bits. Hang in there and do some new things for yourself. Get a friend and go for dinner once a week. Join some groups. Take a holiday with a friend or kids. Just enjoy new things. You don’t feel like doing these things but you will become to love your new life and look back be happy with the decisions you made.

These are emotions you are supposed to feel. Totally normal. Don’t fall for the people who act like they are living there best lives as soon as they breakup.
It’s all an act and it bites them in the bum sooner or later.
Grieve, feel the feelings and process. You’ll get through it and come out better for it (even if it doesn’t feel that way now).

You're supposed to grieve so don't panic that it's not all falling into place. You're doing exactly what you should be right now. Grieving the loss of the partner you thought you'd have 30 years in, the loss of what you dreamt your life would look like right now. Those are some big ass losses and they deserve some time to be felt.
When you're ready, little steps.
One I recommend is joining a few of the solo ladies travelling and camping FB pages. Whether that's for support, inspiration or just to kill some of the lonely hours reading their posts or attending meet ups.
The worst thing you can do is stagnate in that sense of loss. You need to be aware that there is a time to action the changes needed to steer the rest of your life into a fulfilling direction.
