Double lashes and discomfort

Parents that have children with double lashes ... how do you prevent them from going in their eyes. My 8yos are so long and thick. luckily, most of them curl up, but some curl right into the eye. She's too young for a lash perm

For those who don't know what double lashes are, it's a genetic condition, that sounds great but infact, in most cases is extremely uncomfortable. In almost all cases, the second layer of lashes curl down into the eye. My son also has it but all of his curl up. Both my kids look like they have extensions on.

I personally pluck mine out. It hurts the first few times, but then it stopped hurting.

It’s such a relief to have them gone.

I know plucking would be super tough on a child and potentially dangerous, but this is what i do.

I have not found any other solution that worked for me.

I hope your child is ok though, i can sympathise with her pain :(

Iv had to pluck a couple which was so painful for her. I feel so guilty when it comes to plucking. When she's older I'll do a lash perm.

I’d look into electrolysis - 100% go the medical route not beauty shops in case they even would attempt it. It’s a permanent issue so may as well permanently fix it as early as you can.
