There's been a lot of negativity in the world lately so I just wanted to share a nice story.
Yesterday I was just having one of them days, I was irritable, I felt bloated and yuck (pms am i right lol) and I couldn't find any clothes I felt comfortable in.
I ended up changing my clothes about 8 times, finally landing on an outfit I didn't really feel great about but I had to go before I was late to work.
At work, I had about 6 customers in a row who were needlessly rude, demanding and difficult so by the time inwent on my lunch break I was feeling pretty down.
As I was sitting in the food court feeling sorry for myself, a lady came up to me cautiously and told me how lovely I looked in the colour I was wearing (it was a baby yellow long sleeve button down shirt).
I don't know if she could tell that I needed a few kind words or if she just felt compelled to give me a compliment but it made my day either way! It wasn't even so much the compliment itself but just the fact that she went out of her way to be nice to me with no strings attached, she was just genuinely nice.
Anyway, this may seem insignificant to some but just keep in mind that people will remember your kindness, no matter how small.

It's the little things that put a smile on your face 😊 Try it with your customers they will find it hard to be rude once you've complimented them. Although steer clear of complimenting physical appearance of strangers like nice eyes, nice smile etc, that can really freak people out. I comment on things like hairstyles, clothes, jewellery, etc.
I love it when things like that happen. It's like when that first little ray of sunshine breaks through on an overcast and miserable day 🥰
