Hi sisters!

I am experiencing a low sex drive, I have never had this happen in my adult life. I’m 33 years old. What vitamins/supplements can I take to help this?

I have also had a super low sex drive since turning 30, hopefully there's something that can fix it. Before that I was always ready to go. Now I'm too tired

Sometimes these things aren't a quick fix.

Have you been sick or run down recently? Have you recently had a baby? Started a new job? Experienced a grief or loss? Are you overextended from looking after your family? Do you need help from your partner/outside help to ease the burden? Is your partner treating you with kindness and patience? Do you need a break or a holiday?

Have you sought advice from a doctor? Had blood tests? Looked into sleep?

Supplementing vitamins/minerals where there is a deficiency is one thing - but taking extras where your body doesn't need them could be expensive urine at best and toxic at worst. Just because these things occur naturally, doesn't mean they're the best thing you can do, particularly if you haven't found the reason why your sex drive is low.

Unfortunately there isn’t any. I’ve suffered this for most of my life. Been to the doctor multiple times. One time the doctor said I have anxiety. Another time got my hormones checked…. All fine. I’ve tried every over the counter supplement. Fortunately I have a very understanding husband but just for once I want to feel like my husband does. 😩

Go to doctors! I was like this and found out everything was out of Wack! Low vitamin D, my iron was extremely low and had to have an iron infusion and also have thyroid issues ( didn’t even know) I’m now a couple of months onto the tablets and everything is back up to normal and I feel amazing!

I'd see your doctor. A lot of women go up and down. I had it happen to me in my early 20s when I went on depo provera. I realised that wasn't the best option for me however it definitely made it practically impossible to get pregnant. 🙃

Another thing was my mental health. If I wasn't right chemically or I wasn't in a good place emotionally, my sexy side suffered.

Other things can affect your sex drive, down to how attractive you find the other party in the moment to how tired you are overall.

If I've worked 6 days straight with only 10 hours between shifts, I don't have time to rub one out let alone anything else. If my mind I elsewhere or juggling all these different balls, I am in a selfish "I can't be bothered" mindset.

I found exercise helped a lot.

Don't stress, just check your bios out and go from there.
