Job seeker cut off?

Hi, what's the cut off on job seeker?
I have a job and get centrelink, family payment so all up I get 1400 a fortnight but once I pay rent, bill's I'm left with nothing. Job seekers is being claimed but they're processing at the moment and currently looking for a better job.

My son is 9 so I only get half of the family payments.
