It’s very dependent on what the person needs/impairments etc. For us, my adult son who has a number of diagnosis including severe intellectual disability, and severe sleep disorder. We get a lot of ‘core support’ funding which can be used to purchase equipment (incontinence aids, a special toilet paper dispenser that stops all the toilet paper blocking the toilet etc) we also get support workers a cleaner and gardener. But my son is extremely high needs (he needs 24/7 supervision can not ever be left unsupervised) and an Adult so the funding amounts are different.
Out of our therapy budget we can get speech therapy, OT, behaviour supports dietitian, physio.
What you can use, and what you need is going to be based on the participants disability and age.
