I don't understand legal aid. Not as in how to apply and such, but their strange rules.
We have been in the federal courts for custody since last year, after a huge breach in orders, fromthe non custodian parent.
Funding has now been suspended for us, but we can apply again for this matter later.... Um, we are in court in 14 days. On the paper work it states,
Your current application can't be greated at this point. You are still covered by legal aid, and apply for more funding at a later date.
Then it goes on to say
Your current represention can not charge you on this matter, but still apply on your behalf.
So, we need replacentation, that legal aid can't cover at this moment, but we can't pay out lawyer, is they are our legal aid lawyer. Why does this crap have to be so stressful

So the funding has been exhausted. See if the solicitor will work pro bono?
Or rock up to the court and utilise the court appointed lawyer. Your not likely to get very far with them, but it’s better than nothing
Not exhausted, just put off for the time being, due to how much has been used in a short time. Luckily, we got it pushed through this morning
