Dealing with arthritis and standing at work for 6hr day's.
I have arthritis in the knees and gaining weight quickly for some reason.
As I said I stand at work and also do a lot of walking but still gaining weight..
Not the point, my left knee really hurts. I'm struggling to walk at the moment and only in the last couple of hour's has it flared up!
How do people deal with their arthritis.
Is there a supplement I can take?
I struggle at work. Constantly have to pace or shift my weight from one leg to the other etc.

Not a human but probably would work.
Our Alpaca has arthritis in her knees, she couldn’t walk for about a month, the produce store recommended turmeric + coconut power. Mixed it with her pellets.
She started to stand after about 2 weeks, a few months on is walking.
Maybe turmeric tea?
See a podiatrist. The weight gain could be contributing, but so does age and the type of shoes we wear. You may need more support in your shoes or perhaps orthotics can help. A healthy diet certainly helps but look at the physical side first.
I have arthritis in all my joints. I have to make sure I wear really good shoes and a podiatrist could help advise you there. I take anti inflammatory medication.
I do a lot a of exercise in the pool. It helps me work out without the pain and it doesn’t increase my pain.
You may also find a good rubber mat to stand on at work. Standing on hard surfaces is terrible.
I know, you know and I’d heard it 1000 times before I was able to make traction in weight loss but it has helped.
I have rheumatoid Arthritis
I wear good quality shoes, such as hoka, I stretch, and also make sure to take some
Anti inflammatory medicine when needed
Chat to your gp bout your concerns and maybe get a referral to a rheumatologist
