Im looking to have a huge life change, I've been in the same industry for 14 years and I've honestly just had enough, its not a job I can do sustainably until I retire, its also turned into a really bitchy industry and has taken a toll on my mental health. I run my own business and make good money (3-7k per week) but I am just so sick of never being "off the clock."(There's no option for hiring) I feel so stuck, my oldest daughter has just changed schools to the only other school in the area (within an hour travel) available but costs $14k per year. We were originally at the state school but she kept getting physically attacked by one group of kids and the school or police wouldn't do anything about it. I know if I change industries I will have to take a huge pay cut so keeping her at this school just won't be achievable. (We don't and can't receive any financial help from the father)
Im thinking about a big fresh start - new town, new school, new job - just don't know where to start.
Which brings me to my next two questions.
I would love to move to NSW or QLD coast. What are some beautiful affordable community based towns along the coastline that you loved or have lived in?
What industries or jobs do you work in where you have the potential to earn 2-4k per week?
Im open to male dominated industries, straight out labour intensive jobs or even furthering my education, anything really. Although I can't work away as I am a full-time parent and no sales/commission/mlm type work.
Would love to hear of your big life changes you've made and any tips you can give to taking the leap.

Road train drivers, Dangerous goods long haul truck driving, train drivers, trades that are employable on mine sites (heavy duty diesel mechanic, electrician), machinery operators in construction or mining, drillers and drillers offsider, anything on an oil rig. Business income is very different to wages so it is a bit if a stretch to expect to change from one thing to another and expect to get the same income straight away. The big $ jobs come with serious competition and experience. If you go to TAFE and do a construction course that should help you into road crews which will give you experience with different machinery while earning good money.
100-200k per year in a brand new industry you don't have experience in? Do you have qualifications that are highly sought after and uncommon in other resumes? Was your business experience highly skilled to allow you to target CEO positions or management in national, international or lucrative industries? If you have something unique and in demand this might be realistic.... but otherwise it sounds like a pipe dream.
Can you reduce your production/output/bookings or whatever applies to your business to reduce your hours? That would reduce the impact on you personally and help you do this while your daughter finishes school. You could then take a massive pay cut to study or move into another industry and work your way up later.
