Light bleeding before period

Ive had light bleeding for almost 3 days now. My period is in 5 days. When I say light bleeding its more than spotting not enough to fill a thin pad.
This has never happened to me before. I am 35 and have 4 kids. My periods are always regular. I do have adenomyosis so heavy, painful periods are normal for me.
I have no cramping, a little nausea but thats it.
I'll do a test after my period is due but just wanted to see others opinions.
Have you had this and you were pregnant? Or not? A little scared to think I could have a 5th
