Hi, Just wondering who is the best family lawyer based in the Cairns area for me to have a chat with regarding child support and family law matters.
I need to do a change of assessment for child support as my ex has lodged a $3k taxable income and just bought a luxury car worth $100k and works alot (with GF now employed in his business too). Just need to some legal help.

Dob him into the tax department. That's what I did with my ex, took about a year of reporting him and his purchases/lifestyle but it paid off in the end. Keep your child support payments as CSA collect even if he's not paying because if they change his income for previous years your CSA will get backdated as well. If you have a private agreement it will only get backdated 3 months.
