My ex and I sold our house and separated 2 years ago.
We both rented houses and he’s never lived here but today I got a letter in the mail addressed to him at my address??
Any ideas on how that happens??
The letter was just a generic junk mail type but the fact it had his name and my address is bizarre?
I know he didn’t list my place as his, he has his own place and we co parent amicably.
When we first separated I had a mail redirection for me and our kids and the post office included him in it so we fixed that and haven’t had a problem for 2 years.

Could your kids be signing up for things at his place, using his name and your address if it needs to be 18+ or maybe he bought something once for the kids and put your address on it? Could be anything really.
Thankyou, that could be it. Our kids are under 12 but they use online gaming at dads. They’ve memorised my phone number and address so they could’ve entered it somewhere and entered dads name
Has your ex ever ordered anything online for the kids but had it sent to your house?
I ordered something online for my nan one time, now every time I order something or sign up for something for myself I have to make sure my stupid phone hasn't auto added my nan's address instead of mine.
If it's amicable, just ask him??? It could be just one of those weird things
Yeah I did and he had no idea either.
It’s not a big deal was just curious how that happens
