Breast implants in North QLD

Has anyone had breast implants done by Dr Gaffield? Or can you suggest a good surgeon in North QLD?
Also interested in anyones experience with breast implants, does anyone regret getting them done? Or do you love them?
I'm over 30, finished having children and very interested in getting implants in proportion to what I think would suit my body.

Haven't had implants am busty (DD to E depending on my weight). I hate that I can't buy a pretty bra, have to have support bra's. They are heavy and hard on my back. Hurt when I do physical activity (sport - doesn't help that my sport is horse riding, I'd come home from a ride literally holding my boobs with one hand rein in the other in agony)
I've actually had a reduction, I had 1.5kg taken off when I was 20. I was taken down to a C and LOVED that size. Was big enough be femenine and i could wear pretty bra's, was light and just wonderful! Sadly I didn't stay that size long :(
I don't know how heavy implants are? compared to breast tissue? But weight is something I'd look at as much as size.
Even though I'm bigger than I'd like to be, the plus of surgery is that they sit up nice and perky, even after 20 years, I still have really nice breasts (apart from the scars but no one else apart from hubby sees those) I still after 20 years get compliments on how nice my breasts are. My self confidence and image from being a more normal size is huge.
I would assume the same benefits would be had from going up a little, rather than down. I have said many a time it's the best thing I ever did.
I'd like to have another reduction, (back to C D at most) But given that my size no longer affects my confidence, and they are still nice, not hanging down to my belly button, it's probably not worth the expense. Unless I won Lotto and had the money to burn, but really I'm not massively out of proportion, just have to wear 2 bra's when I ride the horse.
So yeah, different spectrum, but can tell you I have no regrets and does help wtih confidence and I hope you find a great surgeon and are equally as happy with the results!!

I had implants done in march this year.. best decision ive made... I went OS to have mine done and couldnt be happier. I went from a small B to a large D, i am a small framed person (50kgs,163cm) and i havnt noticed any kind of weight or back/shoulder pain. I left the sizing up to my surgeon (although it is helpful to know what you want and dont want), they will give you a recommendation based on your size/frame, whether you need a lift and how much existing breast tissue you have, high or medium profile, round or tear drop shape... i would recommend joining some forums and talking to people, do your research .. you can find me and message on facebook if you want me to go more in depth :)

Hi!

Im sorry I cant be of much help for the North QLD side of things but I had a breast Augumentation 6 weeks ago in Parramatta.

My surgeon was Dr. Peter Val at The Cosmetic Institute and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I had my consultation on a Monday and my surgery was on a Tuesday. My consult went for 2 hours and I felt sooo comfortable there! It was great!

I was a deflated C cup. Was too small to fit a C but too wide to fit a B pre op. I was recommended a lift but opted for just a BA as many girls on a private facebook page I am a member that were recommended or borderline lifts of had amazing results after just a BA.

I went with whatever my surgeon recommended which was 620cc Round Textured Silicone Adhesive Gels placed behind the muscle. I love them! Still a lot of dropping and fluffing to do but we're getting there :)

If you want to join the private group to see all the pre and post op photos, recovery info, concerns, questions etc. feel free to add me on facebook! It's the only way I can add you to the page.

Oh an by the way, it only cost me $5,990 for the surgery :) x
