Sleeping pills always left me feeling hung over, and left feeling just as fatigued like I haven't slept..... Didn't help that I sleep walk/eat on most of them
I suggest talking to a Dr first, but mine suggested drowsy antihistamine, or 5-10mg of melatonin
Melatonin is amazing as my ASD son use to take it to help him sleep and now he doesn't need it anymore as his body finally settled into a proper sleep pattern.
Try a sleep routine, no screens before bed, no caffeine after noon, lavender ( I use a lavender shower gel and Aveeno lavender body cream applied before bed) etc. Even if it doesn't work on its own it creates a routine for bed time which is beneficial.
I was using the Swisse sleep vitamins but have stopped now, after a while they weren't helping and I had to see my GP to be medicated for anxiety.

Restavit is awesome and over the counter,I only have 1 quarter of a tablet and does the job x
I take phenergan some nights , Dr told me use it. It also is antihistamine if you have any allergies . It’s otc
