Foundation

Hi Mum's. I'm looking for recommendations for foundation. I generally don't wear alot of makeup, but I'd like to find something with a nice, natural coverage for when I go out. I would say I have combination skin. Dry in most places apart from my nose which can get quite shiny and oily. Looking for a matt finish and as natural as possible.
Thanks so much!! X

Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation Is amazing, little goes along way, it’s like skin the same with Natasha Denona face glow foundation. AMAZING and so natural.

I used to wear nude by nature and loved it. Very very natural looking and it's a powder so no oily spots. Super easy to apply as well, and it's very affordable. I had adult acne and it was the only makeup that didn't make it worse

Omg so i just started to use foundation like two weeks ago. I don’t use any makeup and have what is called maskne. Work in healthcare for 10-12 hours so it caused outbreaks but anyhow I have scars and thought I would need something thick and heavy. I searched YouTube and Google and got overwhelmed so decided to go into the store and just ask for help. Have had no experience whatsoever with any kind of makeup (I’m 34 btw!) So I go into the store and I had already told myself that if they made fun or made me feel uncomfortable I would just walk out. Took my husband for second opinion since I knew I didn’t want to look like a clown or too white/unnatural. The first girl that comes to me asks me what I need. Told her I wanted something that looked natural, not too much maintenance or application needs and wanted a non-shiny/greasy look. Immediately she matched my skin tone and used the “TOO FACED born this way Matte finish” foundation. I’m in the USA not sure if they sell in your area, it was pricey but it is sooooo worth it. The lady showed me how to mix it with moisturizer so it goes on smoothly and easily as well as helps so that you use less of it which means it will last longer. She also told me to use my fingers to mix and apply it which saves product and makes it so that it goes on smoother. So happy with it, don’t use it everyday just like weekends since I’m still practicing but it’s so good I wish I could use daily. Super natural look!

I had massive breakouts after 40! Switched to Younique brand skin care and makeup and haven’t looked back. They have a number of different base products like BB creams and foundations. I love the spray, 5 min to apply and super lightweight…which for tropical nth qld is a MUST!
