Work

Hello lovely ladies
I'm in Perth WA and need to get a job . I haven't had work for 12 years since I has my daughter. Money is tight and I have almost no experience.
How do I find a online job .
Most online work I've tried have turned out to be scams.
Need some advise !
Thanks😊

What about local supermarket? Getting some experience on board? Otherwise you might need to go and get a qualification

Good luck! I’m in Qld and I have been out of the workforce for over a decade and even with 2 certificates I can’t seem to score a job anywhere.

Why an online job? There's heaps of other work at the moment. You won't have a problem finding a job right now, get in before they get rid of the vaccine mandates. The unvaccinated have taken up all the work from home jobs, if you're vaccinated get yourself out there.

You mean when the unvaxxed start dying? Seeing how the vaccine works here in WA, since most of us had time to be vaccinated BEFORE covid has spread its showing some good numbers. I think currently only 2 people in hospital, none in ICU, one death and he was not vaccinated. Considering there's less than 5% unvaccinated it's not good odds for them.

Western Australians aren’t the smartest though. Look at the tosser you re-elected. Good luck when the border opens. Covid is coming for all your elderly jabbed or not. They are about to start dropping likes flies. It’s going to be fun to watch.

Yep, rather be vaxxed than a troll 👌

I work at a hospital in Melbourne. Do you know how many times unvaccinated people have begged for a vaccinate when they are about to be sedated for intubation? No? Well, you are bloody lucky.

To be frank with you, you'll need to gain some qualifications and broaden your search beyond the internet. Online/work from home jobs are scarce.

Supermarkets and retail positions would be a good place to start, if you have a little spare cash getting your RSA and food handling certificate would benefit you as well.

I assume your receive centrelink payments, they should be able to set you up with an employment provider. They pay for a lot of courses and training to help you gain employment.

I had trouble finding work, i saw an ad for a job that was 9-3 so school hours and two days a week, PERFECT! No experience, full training! EVEN BETTER! I applied but never heard back. About 3 weeks later i emailed and enquired about the position and was told it was filled and they apologised for not emailing me to say that (all good!) they did ask to hold onto my resume because the fact i took time to enquire meant a lot to them. 2 weeks later they employed me in their retail space 3 days a week 9-3. Sometimes you just have to put yourself out there.
