Hi Sisterhood!
A bit of a random question, but I've just moved to a beachside town and am swimming in the ocean everyday. For the ladies who surf or are in the water a lot, do you wash your hair after every swim or just give it a rinse in the shower?

I always wash mine after a swim.
Rinse and condition
My hair matts if it gets wet. Doesn't matter if it's salt water, pool water or just normal water - I have to wash and condition it afterwards if I want to get a brush through it (I have stupid fine/wavy easily tangled hair 😅).
Salt water is also very drying, even if you don't wash your hair daily or after each beach swim, you may want to invest in a good deep conditioner for your hair (and a good moisturiser for your skin too, just to throw in a bit of unsolicited advice lol, I've lived 5 minutes from the beach my whole life).
A swimming cap may be an option if you don't want to wash every day as well.
I'm usually a twice a week hair washer but I have been swimming daily this summer. My hair goes gross if I don't wash it every day now. Not necessarily after each swim as I'm in and out all day but when I have my shower at night I wash it.
I drench my hair in conditioner before swimming. Then rinse in fresh water and re condition. Washing my hair too often dries it out.
This is also what I do when I swim laps in a pool, but I wear a cap as well in the pool.
