Weight loss motivation

How do you all get motivated to exercise to lose weight? Every night I think, I’m going to exercise tomorrow definitely, then the next day I just always couldn’t be bothered. And especially now with all my kids home too. All advice/help is appreciated. Thankyou

Involve the kids. My daughter is hellbent on teaching me yoga like they do at school so that excitement is motivating me. Commit each day to doing something out of the house with the kids, decide together what you’ll do, and then incorporate the exercise wether it’s walking to the destination, an activity that’s specifically exercise like hiking or swimming or even take them to the playground and you do exercises while they play

Weight loss isn’t just exercise. It’s something like 80% diet, so also have a look at what you are eating. Take the kids to the park everyday. While they’re playing, you walk laps around the equipment. Jump on the swing, it’s getting your body moving. Kick a ball around with the kids. Go to the beach or pool. Make sure you get outside with the kids everyday.

Yep, kids involved. Find a way for them to move fast though, not slow you down and no stopping, it's not about them.
I offer a cafe drink or a good breakfast as a reward though, because we're all healthy and happy after we work.

Honestly weight loss is like 90% diet. Exercise is good and will aid weight loss s well as having other health benefits but focus on diet first. Check out James Smith and what he has to say about calorie f***** deficit. I highly recommend his podcast- especially the one about the cookie diet.
