How old are they? It would be worth speaking to their GP and or therapist ( if they are seeing one) for advice. I never needed an alarm for my boys, but I would assume they wouldn’t be much use if the child hasn’t yet developed the hormone needed for night time dryness.
I wet the bed until my teens and have known others to also. Just be patient and understanding because getting mad will not help. See their gp for any help, discourage drinking caffeinated drinks late afternoon and try to wake them for toilet breaks during the night.
Depending how old they are you can consider asking the Dr about desmopressin. I have ADHD and as a child and nothing worked for me (I was still wetting the bed around 11yo) until I tried desmopressin. Back then it was available in a nasal spray which has been discontinued but for me I only had to use it for 1 week. They still have tablet form I believe. Read up on all side effects etc before you go into it of course but honestly as a pre-teen that medicine was a miracle for me. Before using it I couldn't wake up during the night and somehow it helped me wake. Best of luck to you.
