male influence

Hi, my ex husband has pretty much said that he doesn't want anything to do with our 4 kids apart from birthdays/Xmas - That's a whole other issue. - What I would like to ask is how can.I find someone - a decent male - to be a role model for kids in particular 2 boys 9,13. I don't want to date someone, kids don't belong to any clubs.and.don't do sport. They have 1 uncle that's great but he is busy with own family. Just been readying books that say having male.influence is important, I'm not looking for a new dad for them just someone they can look up too. Any ideas? Thanks

Do they have a grandfather? My dad really stepped up and filled that role for my son. They have a very special relationship. Otherwise maybe look for a big brother program.
