Hi IM mothers
i am currently 5w5d pregnant with #2 the doctor sent me for a early preg u/s this morning and all that was seen was the sack is it normal to not see any baby or even detect a heart beat at this stage

Congratulations on being pregnant!!
I'm currently 30wks and had first scan at 6w1day and all we saw was a sac. 2 wks later saw healthy bub.
5-6 wks is still very early to see anything.

Please keep in mind it could be a chemical pregnancy or blighted ovum this has happened to me twice. I hope everything works out fine for you
I'm experiencing the same situation now. I'm about 7w and at my scan last week only sac was present. I'm trying not to worry. Going back to the Dr tomorrow.
I still feel preg. Getting sicker and sicker as the days go on.
