Do you have insurance on your storage shed? Who do you use? Ive tried to do online quotes but none of the common providers actually let you choose “storage unit” when looking at what your looking to insure.
I had the option to have it included in my monthly premium however I thought I’d shop around, 2 months in and I haven’t done much shopping. Tried to contact the storage facility to ask to have it added and I’m not getting any replies.

Do you mean common providers of insurance, like banks? Because I would assume you need to insure the items within the unit, not the 'storage unit' itself. Doing it through an insurer, once done, you can just email the document to the storage place (I think).
To add insurance through the storage unit/their insurers then maybe try contacting their head office or find out online who their insurers are and contact them directly and see if you can do it that way 🤷♀️ good luck x
I think it may come under contents? So you will have to ring and ask them.
