Hey ladies, after some advise. Seperated 12 months ago and trying to work out seperation financials. Background. Together 5, married 3. 3 children each but none together. Always had seperate finances 50/50 all household expenses. Paid for our own children's expenses.
So built a house. I put in 100k, him 50k. I want to buy him out of the house. So if house is valued at 600k, mortgage payout is 300k. Would it then go I get my extra 50k(as agreed at start of mortgage) then the remainder of the 250k split evenly? Should I be entitled to more? Don't want to go down the lawyer rd if possible.
Just wanna see how other ladies went about this or any suggestions of websites to work out the sums etc

So you agreed that youll take 50k extra and split the rest in half, then thats what should happen.
Is this agreement you say about getting that 50k in writing or just verbal agreement made at a happy time?
Is he not wanting you to take the extra 50? If he's changed his tune unfortunately I don't think you will get it. You were married after all so it would be nice if you get it but at the same time still fair if you get just a straight 50%. Courts don't really care about separate finances.
