Big belly and butt

Big belly and butt

I have put on quite a bit of weight over the past 18 months. It has all gone to my belly and bum. They are huge. I have been mistaken to be heavily pregnant many times. It’s so depressing. I have been eating a lot healthier lately and walking a few days a week. What exercises are the best for belly and bum? What should I be doing to get rid of them quickly? Any certain food/drink?

Belly is diet. A good healthy diet, low calories, cut out all junk, increase water and belly will shrink.
Bum is cardio like running to slim it out. Exercises like squats to tone it up. If you follow any pt on facebook they show you different exercises and which areas they target. Any aerobic movement is good for getting slender.

Intermittent fasting ( 12 to 18 hours a day) . Calorie control. Portion size control . Low carbs (under 20g a day). Low/no sugars. Good oils and fats. Ketogenic only foods. Combined with light to moderate exercise.

This is how I lost 15 kilos in 8 weeks and counting. 100% of people who eat a ketogenic diet lose weight.

There are no exercises that will make you lose weight only in these areas. Weight loss is systemic.
Best things to do would be to consult a dietitian for food advice, leading to calorie deficit whilst you still maintain optimum nutrition, walk daily. Start of with small walks if you’re not very fit, and drink more water. Drink 250mL every hour. I have an app that reminds me to drink water, as I have adhd and will forget to eat and drink 🤦🏽‍♀️

I follow James Smith PT on Facebook and insta. He has a lot of useful tips. I would suggest a calorie deficit (you can figure out your numbers online). Exercise will obviously help to create a healthy lifestyle too. I find that exercising regularly and setting myself small challenges helps to keep me more motivated with a healthier eating lifestyle. Exercising your whole body is important. Good luck :)
